READI-Net: Disability resources for employers - a program of the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services

The Business Relations Program and READI-Net assists business and industry in meeting their disability and inclusion-related needs.

Our Business Relations Consultants (BRC) work to connect qualified candidates with disabilities, with employers seeking to hire and retain a diverse, talented and valuable workforce. By offering pre-screening and recruitment services, disability-related education and training, special hiring incentives, and assistance with job-site accommodations and modification services, BRCs cultivate long-term, beneficial relationships that result in a diversified, inclusive and productive workplace.

- Lee Thomas, HR Specialist

Compass Bank

"They really go the extra mile to ensure that the people we hire from them present our corporate principles to our customer. I've worked with VR approximately eight years and have always found them to be truly professional and very focused on the needs of the employer not just on the individual they're trying to place.”
- Michael Ballew, VP/Manager

"The type and talent of people we get from VR are outstanding. What I like in particular is that they come to us and ask what our needs are."
